Sew make believe member Emily told me about this website, Best Free Crochet. There is currently a dishcloth challenge where you can submit your design for a dishcloth. The aim of the challenge is to get a dishcloth a day for 365 days. If you don’t want to design your own it is a good place to look for a pattern to try as they are all freely available. My favourite is this one with a cherry design.
This site has lots of other free patterns as well as dishcloths.
