We were asked to spread the word about the Fashion & Textile Children’s Trust. Please read the information below and visit their website if you would like to find out more about how they could help you, or how you could help them.
We bet you didn’t know that there is a charity which exists just to offer financial support to the children of people working in the UK fashion and textile industry.
If your child needs help with special needs or if changes at home are affecting your child’s education, the small and friendly team at the Fashion & Textile Children’s Trust (FTCT), may be able to help.
Founded in 1853, FTCT currently supports the children of employees at more than 30 high street fashion stores including, BHS, John Lewis, Debenhams, but not everyone knows about the help we can give. That is why we want to let everyone working in fashion and retail know that we are here, for you.
Getting help is really simple- all you need to do is make the call.
In the words of one of employee at Next, whose child FTCT has helped, “At a time when we felt so low, so hopeless, FTCT came to our rescue … after 6 months of heartache, sorrow and a feeling of helplessness we now feel as though there is light at the end of the tunnel .. we will always hold the FTCT charity dear to our hearts. When Louie can learn to write and speak, he will thank you all personally”” Rebecca-mum of Louie-11 months.
