I was going to just share with you the link for this pattern for some simple crochet stars thinking they would make good decorations on their own, or you could add them to other projects. Rather than just sharing the link I decided to try making some.
These stars are really quick to make, I made lots in one evening. They are also a really good project for using leftover bits of yarn. This pattern is available from A Foothill Home Companion if you want to make your own.
I enjoyed making these stars so much I looked for a snowflake pattern to try as well. These were just as quick to make as the stars. The pattern I used was from Attic 24. Rather than using these as decorations in the same way I crocheted a chain and joined the snowflakes on a approximately 15cm intervals to make a string of snowflake bunting.
