Workshop: Felt Owls

This week we held a felt owl making workshop, it was a hoot!

Unfortunately when we arrived at the hall we discovered the large room that we were planning to use was set up for a jumble sale! We all had to squeeze into the small room, which meant limited table space for everyone, we managed, but it was a little cosy.

The workshop was a lot of fun and most of us we able to get the front piece of our owls finished, a few of the owls were completely finished.

If you didn’t finish your owl at the workshop, or couldn’t come and want to make one of your own you can get the pattern and full instructions for free from the designer, Laura Howard, on her blog, Bugs and Fishes.

  3. Thanks again, Zoe, for all the work you put into getting this workshop ready. I had so much fun and I really appreciate you getting my owl started while I sorted out the admin stuff! That was above and beyond the call of Organiser duty!
