Book Title: Cross-Stitch and Embroidery for Babies, Toddlers and Children

Author: Isabelle Leloup

Mark out of ten: 10

What is it in particular that you like about this book?

The unusual projects, they aren’t cutesy or overly sweet.

Would you say this was a suitable book for novices, or do you need some prior knowledge to really enjoy the projects on offer?

It’s quite simple and has clear instructions for beginners.

Have you completed any of the projects? If so, how simple were they to follow? Did you encounter any difficulties? Were the instructions clear and intuitive?

I’ve almost completed my second project, although neither of them are the same as the original in the book. Here is a picture of my finished koi carp design.

Any other comments?

I don’t own this, I’ve borrowed it repeatedly from the library as I like it so much. I really should buy it!
