Zoë: Fabric Flowers

My Mum and I bought a fabric flowers kit to try during a weekend of crafting.

The kit is from textile artist Gillian Travis and allows you to make your own version of her beautiful flowers that won the Quilt Creation category at the Festival of Quilts a few years ago. We were impressed with them at the time.

The kit contained enough materials to make five flowers.

We made two each, and I can make another one later with the remaining materials.

These flowers are time-consuming to make, but the instructions are really easy to follow and the finished flowers look amazing. It is well worth the effort.
