Top Tip Tuesday: Recycled Christmas Cards

I decided to make my Christmas cards this year, I have been saying this for 3-4 years now, but I actually managed to do it for a change. I had a look online for some ideas and found these ones on the Hobbycraft website.

I liked the idea of a simple Christmas shape cut out of patterned paper as I wanted to do something quick and easy. I have made mine from recycled materials, mostly from wrapping paper, magazine cuttings, and packaging.

I tried to put into practice some of the tips from our cardmaking workshop at the start of the year, I am getting quite good at looking at packaging and junk mail to find its card making potential.
