Top Tip Tuesday: Knautical Knitting

Whilst on my holidays last week I spotted this call out for knitters to knit a fish!

Knautical Knitting is a fun project to support the work of The Museum of Scottish Lighthouses.

On the following downloadable sheet you will find the basic fish pattern. You can embellish and decorate your fish in any way that you like.

After you have had fun knitting your fish, we would like you to donate it to the Museum.

You can donate your fish for:

  • Display of knitted fish on our fish net drying poles
  • Our fish auction in September to raise funds for the Museum

When you donate your fish we will ask you to fill in a Fish Form so we can look after your fish appropriately.
Keep an eye on our website for fishy developments www.lighthousemuseum.org.uk.

Full details can be found on the downloadable pattern, including where to send your fish to. If you do knit a fish, don’t forget to snap a picture for us to feature on the blog!
