Vintage and Arts Fairs

There seem to be quite a number of vintage fairs going on in our region this weekend. Whether you’re based in Warwickshire or Oxfordshire, prepare to be invaded by the seriously stylish as the doors open on the bargain-hunters’ nirvana…

Head to Sutton Coldfield on Sunday 17th October for the Vintage and Arts Fair. This fair is described as:

40 stalls of handpicked Vintage Fashion, Retro Homewares & Furniture, handmade Jewellery & Accessories. Artisan crafts, local artists & Illustrators too! Vintage 50’s makeover salon & Fashion show, goodie bag giveaway & vintage tea shop with a wide variety of yummy cupcakes courtesy of Sweet Disposition Cakery.

Meanwhile, in Coventry you’ll find the Browns Sunday Flea Market in full swing:

Browns Sunday Flea Market with Heaven Vintage is a monthly event held upstairs where you can buy vintage clothing and jewellery, hand made crafts and lots of other vintage and pre-loved goods.

Browse with a drink in your hand and maybe even stay for dinner to show off your purchases to friends.

Over 18’s only.

And for the Oxford locals, don’t miss out on the Affordable Vintage Fashion Fair on Saturday. These fairs are actually national: click on your city to find your next scheduled event:

Judy’s Affordable Vintage Fair has been providing vintage fans with affordable vintage clothing, homewares and accessories since 2005. Now the largest vintage fair of its kind, and serving 18 cities, it has been hailed by the national press as a “shopping phenomenon”.  Judy’s Affordable Vintage Fair offers a selection of vintage, re-worked and hand made stalls all hand picked by fashion experts and price-checked to ensure shoppers are paying up to 75% less than high street prices for their vintage.

All sound good? So go get shopping! And don’t forget to drop by here next week and share your bargains with the sew make believe girls!

  1. thanks for sharing this info! might attempt the coventry one, think that’s the closest to birmingham, right!?

      • Sutton Coldfield is where I had my birhday party last week – it’s about 15-20 mins on the local train from New Street towards Lichfield Trent Valley/Lichfield City. It’s a nice easy link, goes about every 15-30 mins (depending on time of day/day of the week).
